Social Justice

What is the church’s response to injustice in the world? How does biblical justice differ from worldly justice?

In this series, we explore the biblical record and examples of how people of faith responded to injustice in society.

Part 1 – Micah’s call to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly before the Lord.

Part 2 – Amos’s message of how we treat others and the imperative to let justice roll like a mighty river.

Part 3 – Esther’s moment of courage and bravery in spite of her own fear during a moment oppression and injustice.

There are three important things to note from this series.

  1. God will hold rulers accountable for the justness of their actions
  2. God expects us to be just and to do justice
  3. God will raise up a prophetic voice to speak justice on behalf of his people
